Welcome to the Johnston County Beekeepers Association ("JCBA," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website (www.JocoBee.org) and services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Membership and Payments

  • Membership is open to anyone interested in beekeeping.
  • Online membership purchases are processed through third-party payment providers, including Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
  • Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel membership at our discretion.

2. Meeting and Event Participation

  • Our meetings occur on the third Monday of each month and are free and open to the public.
  • Participation in hands-on beekeeping activities at our apiary is voluntary. JCBA is not responsible for injuries, allergic reactions, or other incidents occurring during events.

3. Use of Our Website

  • You may not use our website for unlawful or unauthorized purposes.
  • Any unauthorized attempt to modify, damage, or interfere with our website or data collection is strictly prohibited.

4. Communications

  • By providing your email and/or phone number, you consent to receive emails and SMS messages from JCBA regarding emergency notices, meeting reminders, and swarm collection alerts.
  • You may opt out of communications at any time.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • JCBA is not liable for damages resulting from website errors, membership disputes, or beekeeping activities.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our services.

6. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website.

If you upload images to the website, please avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as visitors can download and extract location data from images.

4. Cookies and Tracking
